Caring for Your Wooden Toys

Posted by on

We often get asked how you should take care of your Little Sapling wooden toys. Here are a few simple solutions!

For teethers:

Find a mild soap and spot clean with warm, soapy water. Never submerge your teethers in water, this can damage the wood.

For maple blocks and toys:

Find a mild soap and spot clean with warm, soapy water. Never submerge your toys in water, this can damage the wood. You may also want to sand the toys to get the right look.

For walnut and cherry toys:

Find a mild soap and spot clean with warm, soapy water. Never submerge your teethers in water, this can damage the wood. You may also want to sand the toys to get your desired look. If you would like to bring out the natural grain of the wood, you can re-finish your toys with an organic beeswax and jojoba oil. Make your own, or buy a kit from us here.
