We love our mamas, and it's great to hear they love us back! Here is a review by one of our very own customers, Wendy.
There is a lot of information about wooden toys and their benefits for play. They connect us and our children to the natural world. The beauty of their colors is profound in their simplicity. They are often seen as pure, free, and help one's imagination to journey to the lands where anything is possible.
As a parent, I was interested in wooden toys for these reasons and more. I wanted the best for my children. Yet, as a resident of the Olympic Peninsula where logging drives life, I was more than a bit hesitant to invest in trees made into toys at first.
I see clear cuts, some reforested and others not, every day. My children play in old growth forests daily. They can spot a logging truck from miles away. They understand how our forests are a part of every day life for us and for those living thousands of miles away.
So why did I ultimately choose to invest in LST toys for our children? The "plant a tree for every purchase" program gave me comfort and hope that the Circle of Play and Circle of Trees would continue in a healthy and responsible way.
Little Sapling Toys are made from sustainably harvested wood. While it might be perceived as ideal to never cut a tree, trees provide life and play in all of their forms.

The beauty, to me, of LST toys is their durability. They are impeccably well made and they can withstand the strength of active children playing with them. This results in fewer toys purchased and more memories. It's much like returning to a favorite forested trail to hike.
